Sejarah Honda Civic, Awal Terbentuknya Honda Civic Wonder (HCW) Ciayumajakuning

Sejarah hadirnya Honda Civic pada tahun 1972, yakni model koper. Sedangkan, di Indonesia pertama kali hadir pada tahun 1975 dalam versi dua pintu. Saat itu masih digunakan oleh pembalap legendaris Aswin Bahar, dan mulai dipasarkan untuk umum tahun 1976.

Honda Civic Wonder Ciayumajakuning (HCW Ciayumajakuning) terbentuk pada 14 November 2015. Berawal dari pertemuan di media sosial facebook, yang berlanjut ke pertemuan kopi darat (kopdar), hingga sepakat untuk membentuk komunitas ini. HCWCiayumajakuning ini melibatkan penggemar dari berbagai daerah di wilayah III Cirebon, meliputi Kota Cirebon, Kabupaten Cirebon, Indramayu, Majalengka, Kuningan.

HCW Ciayumajakuning merupakan wadah silaturahim bagi penggemar Honda Civic Wonder di wilayah tersebut. Dan juga sebagai tempat curhat yang berhubungan dengan permasalahan yang timbul selama merawat Honda Civic Wonder. HCW Ciayumajakuning berada dalam naungan bendera Honda Civic Wonder Indonesia. Karena penggemar Honda Civic Wonder tersebar di seluruh wilayah Indonesia. Dari Sabang sampai Merauke.

Kembali ke pembahasan sejarah tentang Honda Civic Wonder. Honda Civic Wonder adalah salah satu mobil legendaris yang menjadi favorit masyarakat Indonesia pada era 1980-an. Mobil yang diluncurkan pada tahun 1984 ini merupakan generasi keempat dari Honda Civic dan sekaligus menjadi model pertama yang secara resmi diimpor oleh PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) ke Indonesia.

Honda Civic Wonder memiliki desain yang futuristik untuk masanya, dengan body hatchback 3 pintu yang aerodinamis dan ramping. Dilengkapi dengan lampu depan bundar dan grill berwarna hitam, mobil ini terlihat sleek dan mewah. Di dalam kabinnya, Civic Wonder dilengkapi dengan fitur-fitur modern seperti power window dan sunroof. Selain itu, Civic Wonder juga dikenal sebagai mobil yang sangat irit bahan bakar karena menggunakan mesin 1.5 L yang bertenaga namun tetap hemat.

Secara performa, Honda Civic Wonder dapat mencapai kecepatan maksimum hingga 170 km/jam dengan akselerasi 0-100 km/jam dalam waktu 12 detik. Mesinnya mampu menghasilkan tenaga sebesar 91 hp pada 6.000 rpm dan torsi sebesar 121 Nm pada 4.500 rpm.

Selama masa jayanya, Honda Civic Wonder menjadi mobil pilihan bagi kalangan muda yang ingin tampil sporty dan trendy. Tidak hanya digunakan sebagai kendaraan sehari-hari, mobil ini juga menjadi andalan dalam balapan liar atau kegiatan otomotif lainnya.
